FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP HAS RECEIVED PHONE CALLS REGARDING RECENT SOLICITATION ACTIVITY WITHIN OUR TOWNSHIP. THE SALESMEN ARE INDICATING THAT THEY HAVE A PERMIT FROM OUR OFFICE.
FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP DID NOT NOR DOES FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP PROVIDE SOLICITATION PERMITS TO SALESMEN WITHIN OUR TOWNSHIP.
A TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS HAS CONTACTED THE GREENSBURG PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE REGARDING THE COMPLAINTS WITH THE CURRENT SALESMEN WITHIN OUR TOWNSHIP.
HE WAS INSTRUCTED BY THE STATE POLICE THAT IF ANY RESIDENT DOES NOT WANT THEM ON THEIR PROPERTY, POLITELY ASK THEM TO LEAVE AND ADVISE THEM THAT IF THEY DO NOT, YOU ARE GOING TO CONTACT THE STATE POLICE.
